Description

Esofea/Rentz Memorial Park is situated in a beautiful valley setting along the banks of the North Fork Bad Axe River. The park is conveniently and centrally located between the communities of Westby, Viroqua, Coon Valley and Chaseburg. There are 27 campsites, including 4 full hookups with water, sewer and electric, 8 electric sites and 15 primitive sites. There is a picnic pavilion, spring ponds, great trout fishing, hiking trails and flush toilets. (Sorry - no hot showers at this time)

General Policies

Camping season is April 15 to October 15. Park closes nightly from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. except for registered campers. Campsites and picnic pavilions can be reserved anytime from April 15 to October 15. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance. Online reservations require full payment using Paypal when the reservation is made. For phone in reservations, a 25% deposit is required within 14 days of making the reservation, with balance due upon arrival. Cancellations must be made more than 14 days prior to your arrival date in order to receive a refund. Refunds are made in the form of a camping credit. There are no cash refunds. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of your arrival date.

From Viroqua: Travel 2 miles on Hwy. 14/61/27 north and turn left (west) on County Hwy. Y. Travel 3 miles on Hwy. Y and then turn right (north) onto County Hwy. B. Follow Hwy. B approximately 3 miles and turn left (west) onto Park Road. Follow Park Road into the campground. From Westby: Travel 3 miles on Hwy. 14/61/27 south and turn right (west)on County Hwy. Y. Travel 3 miles on Hwy. Y and then turn right (north) onto County Hwy. B. Follow Hwy. B approximately 3 miles and turn left (west) onto Park Road. Follow Park Road into the campground. From Coon Valley: Travel 1/2 mile on Hwy. 14/61 east toward Westby. Turn right (south) onto County Hwy. B. Follow Hwy. B for approximately 5 miles and turn right (west) onto Park Road. Follow Park Road into the campground.
