Jarvis Bay Provincial Park is a great campground to stay at. It is close to Edmonton (~1.5h) and has what you need! Being close to Sylvan Lake town site is great to checkout the beachfront, lake, ice cream at the Big Moo Ice Cream Parlor, restaurants/pubs and the Farmers Market!
