Outhouses were in bad condition and not cleaned regularily, or emptied in quite some time. Little to no privacy between you and your neighbours so plan ahead. Campground is more suited for rv's instead of tents. Surveyors lake beach is a large hike up and down hill, or you can drive to the parking area on the other side of the beach if you'd prefer.
