Directly off the water, steps away from launching your kayak. No shade or protection from wind off of the coast. It would be too difficult to set up a fly tarp since not enough trees over this site. It would be great for a few sunny days but not if you're expecting some inclement weather. Small site.
There are a few platform tents further in (approximately #9-12) that are set off of the sandy beach and set further in for days with big wind gusts.
