One of our favorites close to home

This campground is one of our local favorites. It was heavily damaged in the 2013 fall flood on the Big Thompson River. However they have done a good job of getting the sites along the river back up and running. There may still be construction going on at times. There is a bit of road noise but if you are on the river, the water noise will drown it out. There is a small store in the office and the staff are nice and friendly. The location is ideal, close to Loveland and just down the road from Estes Park. Nice playground and pavilion - I think they have parties with music in the summer.
